German commentary Johann Georg Wachter ist der erste Autor in Deutschland, der eine neuplatonisch-kabbalistische und damit idealistische Spinoza-Interpretation vorlegt, die von Moses Mendelssohn aufgenommen wird und das Spinoza-Bild im Deutschland des Pantheismusstreits bis zu Hegel prägt.
English commentary Johann Georg Wachter is the first author in Germny who gives a neoplatonic-cabbalist, i.e. idealistic interpretation of Spinoza which is taken over by Moses Mendelssohn and determines the Spinoza picture in Germany during the struggle about pantheism, up to Hegel.
