| German commentary | "Der Pantheismus ist ... ein sehr gefährlicher Gegner der christlich-theistischen Weltanschauung, weil er ein wirkliches Gottesproblem sich stellt und all' die großen Fragen des Geistes, welche die christliche Philosophie zur Lösung sich vorlegt, ebenfalls behandelt und zwar in der Form strenger Wissenschaftlichkeit, mit scheinbar tieferem Verständniß und gewandter Dialektik und da, wo es ihm angebracht erscheint, in der Sprache teifsinniger Frömmigkeit" (S. 367). |
| English commentary | "Pantheism is ... a very dangerous antagonist of the Christian-theistic worldview because it faces a real God problem and deals with all the great questions of spirit which Christian philosophy submits to itself for solution as well, and it does so in the manner of strict science and skilful dialectis and, where it appears opportune, in the language of deepest piety" (p. 367). |
