English commentary: About order, authorship and contents of the works in the "Réfutation de Spinoza" (1731) . Proposition: The author of the "Preface" [first pagination: 151-158] is not, as given in the book, Boulainvillers, but Lenglet Dufrainet who is presumably also the author of the "Avertissement" [first pagination: a-as]. The false dedication of the authorship of the expositions in the "Preface" is aimed at concealing the positive judgements of Boulainvilliers concerning Spinoza's philosophy in the his "Réfutation de Spinosa" with the consciously misleading title. Finally briefly on the handwritten remarks by Voltaire in the volume.
